Hello and welcome to you all! I'm Laura Farag, the face behind the blog and the We Heart Nails UK online nail art store. It will come as no surprise that I'm an avid lover of all things nails. Having qualified as a nail technician in early 2011, I have been styling nails in my nail studio using products such as CND Shellac, CND Vinylux, Cuccio Veneer, Gelish, Gel II and now INK London iLac, Acrylink and Caption by Young Nails.

In 2015 I created We Heart Nails UK. Initially what began as a business that sold unique handmade gifts and jewellery for nail technicians in the UK, quickly turned in to an affordable one stop shop for nail art supplies. I became a UK stockist for Born Pretty Store amongst other nail art goodies and in March 2016 I launched my very own holographic nail art glitter range.

Whilst I loved the buzz and excitement of my nail studio, my nail art store grew from strength to strength and so I decided this year that it was time to close my salon doors for good and dedicate my time to We Heart Nails UK, full time. 

We Heart Nails UK is a small, independent, family run business and whilst my husband and two beautiful boys are not nail art lovers, they do love me and so they make it possible to dedicate many days, nights and weekends to this exciting project and of course to my much loved and appreciated customers.

So what can you expect from the We Heart Nails UK blog? 

Not only will I be showcasing some of my nail art store products, I will be honestly reviewing them and uploading helpful tutorials. Whether or not you choose to purchase the products through my nail art store, I hope that the reviews and tutorials will help you to tap in to your creative side or simply try something new. Perhaps you already own the products and are just looking for some inspiration or a simple 'how to' guide. I don't know about you, but just like the Man Drawer, I have a whole bunch of nail art goodies sitting in my vanity case that I haven't touched since they were delivered, I hope my blog inspires you to get those nail art products out and get creative!

I will also be reviewing professional products that I use, I'll be blogging about nail industry news, sharing hints and tips on being a nail technician and being in business and discussing new products that come on to the professional nail market.

I hope to inspire other nail technicians and nail art enthusiasts, just as they have inspired me.
